Whether your itinerary includes watching the game of the year at Wembley Stadium, a day with the giraffes at London Zoo, or retail therapy on Bond Street, West Hampstead’s easy transport links make it easy to get where you want to go. Three tube and overground train stations are a short walk from each other, meaning that no corner of this sprawling capital city is off limits.
Only a short walk away from must-see Primrose Hill, where you can capture the ultimate view of the city’s skyline. If you head a little further down you can find yourself standing in the heart of one of London’s most beautiful Royal Parks, Regents Park, where the inner circle boasts blooming rose gardens in the spring and summer.
If you’re staying over the weekend, make sure you pop by the West Hampstead famous Farmers’ Markets on a Saturday (between 10am-2pm). Come rain or shine, many of the markets serve fresh fish, meat and veggies – perfect for a romantic night in with a home cooked meal. During the day, when you’re feeling peckish, hot meals for breakfast and lunch are also served on the stalls.
