This leafy, tree-lined neighbourhood is just a five-minute Tube ride away from the famous Camden Market, where you can spend a morning strolling through the dozens of fashion, art and music stalls. Grab some lunch at one of the many global food stands or restaurants before strolling down the picturesque canals or catching a gig in the evening at a cool music venue.

If you’re in the mood for a quieter day, head to the peaceful Hampstead Village, a five-minute taxi ride away. Here you can drink a coffee and eat a sweet treat at one of the many independent cafes and bakeries. Then escape back to nature with a long walk through Hampstead Heath or you can catch a film at an arthouse cinema. Finish off the day at one of the many family run restaurants in the area.
